Night Tide

“Temptress from the sea… loving… killing!”

Mora (Linda Lawson) performs as a mermaid at a seaside pier, and the sailor Johnny Drake (Dennis Hopper) can't stay away from her. The longer he knows her, the more he suspects she is no costume, but a real creature who draws men to the water when the moon is full. Curtis Harrington lets the two of them circle each other, his shy attention meeting her guarded one, until the fear and the first love are hard to tell apart.
