Night Train

Marta (Lucyna Winnicka) boards an overnight train to the Baltic coast and finds a stranger already in her sleeping compartment, Jerzy (Leon Niemczyk), both holding tickets for the same berth. Her former lover, Staszek (Zbigniew Cybulski), is somewhere on the same train and will not leave her alone. Kawalerowicz follows Marta as police search the cars for a murderer and the whispers start to settle on the people closest to her.
