Night Train to Lisbon

“Only when you are lost can you truly find yourself”

Raimund Gregorius (Jeremy Irons) has taught in the same quiet Swiss town for years, and he wants out of a life that no longer asks anything of him. After he pulls a Portuguese woman back from a ledge, a book by a Portuguese author sends him to Lisbon. Bille August follows Raimund as he traces the writer through Mariana (Martina Gedeck) and others, where the past carries political danger and real love.
