Nightbitch

“Motherhood is a bitch.”

The Mother (Amy Adams) has put her art career on hold to stay home with her toddler son in the suburbs, and she wants her old life back. Her husband (Scoot McNairy) travels for work, and the days run together until odd signs begin to pile up on her body. Marielle Heller, adapting Rachel Yoder's novel, plays the domestic routine straight and lets the strangeness arrive with a deadpan face.
