“Write for your life.”

Alex (Winslow Fegley) loves scary stories more than anything and would rather write them than be teased for it. Then he is locked inside the New York apartment of a witch, Natacha (Krysten Ritter), who keeps him alive only as long as he reads her a new tale every night. David Yarovesky puts him in a place where every story he runs out of brings him closer to being her last.
