Nights of Cabiria

Cabiria (Giulietta Masina) is a Rome prostitute who is robbed by her boyfriend Giorgio and left to drown, yet she climbs out of the water and goes straight back to looking for happiness. Federico Fellini follows her through the city's cynical edges, where every man she meets seems to want her money or her trust. Oscar D'Onofrio (François Périer) is the one who gets close, and her hope for him is the most she has ever risked.
