Nil by Mouth

Ray (Ray Winstone) throws his brother-in-law Billy out of the house, leaving the young drug addict to fend for himself. They all live in a working-class corner of South East London: Ray, his wife Val (Kathy Burke), her mother Janet, and her grandmother Kath. Gary Oldman, directing for the first time, draws on his own upbringing, and Val keeps living with a man whose temper no one in the family can steer.
