Nina

“Singer. Activist. Survivor. Legend.”

Nina Simone (Zoe Saldaña), the classical pianist and civil rights activist, is in a fragile state that her fame has not eased. Clifton Henderson (David Oyelowo), the manager who arrives to look after her, finds a woman who trusts almost no one. Cynthia Mort keeps the two of them close, Saldaña at the keys, her hands resting on the piano.
