Nine Months

“Ready or Not.”

Samuel Faulkner (Hugh Grant) is a San Francisco child psychologist who likes his life exactly as it is, which includes his longtime girlfriend Rebecca (Julianne Moore) and no plans beyond her. Then she tells him she's pregnant, and his friends and family all have opinions about what he should do next. Chris Columbus, remaking the French film Neuf mois, shoots it around the Bay Area in the broad, bright style of a studio comedy.
