Nine Queens

“If you think you've got it figured out... you've been conned.”

Marcos (Ricardo Darín) is a veteran street swindler who takes on a young partner, Juan (Gastón Pauls), after watching him work a small con in a convenience store. Together they get a chance at a far bigger score: selling a sheet of counterfeit rare stamps, the nine queens, to a wealthy foreign collector. Fabián Bielinsky keeps the older man and the younger one side by side from the first hour, and neither can afford to ask what the other is hiding.
