Nise: The Heart of Madness

Nise da Silveira (Glória Pires) comes back to a psychiatric hospital outside Rio after prison, and she will not use electroshock, the new treatment the other doctors favor. They laugh at her, then hand her the forgotten Sector for Occupational Therapy. There she puts paints, animals and patients like Adelina Gomes (Simone Mazzer) in the same room, and Roberto Berliner keeps his camera close to the faces.
