“CHILE, HAPPINESS IS COMING!”
In 1988, under international pressure, Pinochet calls a plebiscite, and opposition leaders hand the 'No' campaign to René Saavedra (Gael García Bernal), a young advertising executive. He has scant resources and a boss, Urrutia (Luis Gnecco), who works for the other side. Pablo Larraín tells it with the grain of period video, and it treats a vote as a product that has to be sold to frightened people.
