No Bears

Jafar Panahi (Jafar Panahi) can't leave Iran, so he rents a room in a village near the Turkish border and directs a film shot across it, talking to his crew over a weak phone connection. The film follows a real couple trying to get passports to Europe, while the village slowly pulls him into its own troubles. Panahi shot it in secret, and he casts himself in it as a man whose camera everyone fears.
