No Escape

“No guards. No walls.”

Captain J.T. Robbins (Ray Liotta), a Marine convicted of murdering his commanding officer, wants one thing from his life sentence in 2022: a way off the prison island of Absolom, and the chance to clear his name. The island is a jungle where the worst inmates are dumped to fend for themselves, ruled by the brutal Marek (Stuart Wilson). Martin Campbell keeps the camera moving through the undergrowth and the fights close and fast.
