Four years in prison have not changed what Olya (Viktoria Korotkova) wants, which is her ten-year-old daughter Masha (Sofya Krugova) back, and the only person standing in the way is her own mother. Vera Pavlovna (Anna Mikhalkova) will not hand the girl over, and the argument over the child spills out of the house and into a chase. Kirill Sokolov shoots the whole family quarrel at a run, never letting anyone sit down.
