No Sudden Move

“Trust is a setup.”

Curt Goynes (Don Cheadle), just out of prison, takes what sounds like an easy job: watch a family for a few hours while a document is retrieved. Steven Soderbergh puts Curt in a room with Ronald Russo (Benicio del Toro) and a handful of other hired hands, and none of them knows who is paying or why. Everyone at the table has been told only enough to do their part, and the film is about what people will do with half the story.
