No Time for Sergeants

Will Stockdale (Andy Griffith), a Georgia farm boy, can hardly stand how proud he is to have been drafted, and he cannot wait to get started. Uncle Sam, though, has never dealt with anyone quite like him. Mervyn LeRoy puts Will in the same barracks as Sgt. Orville C. King (Myron McCormick), whose patience is the Army's to lose, while Maj. Gen. Eugene Bush (Howard Smith) sits above them both.
