No Way to Treat a Lady

“...or is it?”

In 1968 New York, a strangler (Rod Steiger as Christopher Gill) talks his way into women's homes in a different disguise each time. Morris Brummel (George Segal), a single, harassed detective who lives with his mother, starts getting phone calls from the killer himself. Jack Smight follows the two men into an odd partnership, with Kate Palmer (Lee Remick) a witness who has her eye on Morris, and more women are in danger with every new costume.
