In a mountain temple, five animal spirits, Pig Yao (Chen Ziping), Toad Yao (Lu Yang), Weasel Yao (Dong Wenliang), Ape Yao (Liu Cong), and Yellow Brow Yao (Lin Qiang), live together in mischief and companionship. When a threat arrives, they must find courage they didn't know they had. Yu Shui animates their adventure in vivid 2D, letting the comedy and warmth unfold at the pace of a folktale unspooled around a fire.
