Nobody's Fool

(1994)Directed by Robert Benton110 min · RDrama, Comedy
“In a town where nothing ever happens... everything is about to happen to Sully.”

Why is a man nearing retirement doing odd jobs for Carl Roebuck (Bruce Willis), the contractor he has fought for years, while flirting with Roebuck's young wife Toby (Melanie Griffith)? Sully Sullivan (Paul Newman) is also chasing a workers' compensation suit and dodging a banker who wants him out of his house. Robert Benton sets it in a small town where Sully's estranged son Peter (Dylan Walsh) turns up, and Sully has no idea how to be someone's father.
