Nocturnal Animals

“When you love someone you can't just throw it away.”

Susan Morrow (Amy Adams) runs an art gallery and keeps a life that looks finished, until a manuscript arrives from the ex-husband she left twenty years ago. He wants her opinion of the book. Tom Ford cuts between her reading and the novel's story of Tony Hastings (Jake Gyllenhaal), a mathematics professor whose family vacation turns violent, and Susan keeps turning pages she cannot put down.
