North to Alaska

“These were the adventures . . . fighting, laughing and brawling their way from Seattle to Nome!”

It's the Nome gold rush, and George Pratt (Stewart Granger) has struck it rich in Alaska. He sends his partner Sam McCord (John Wayne), a brawler who chases women, down to Seattle to fetch the fiancée George has been writing to. Henry Hathaway sends Sam back north with a dancer named Angel (Capucine) instead, and Sam is a man with a lot of explaining to do.
