North West Frontier

(1959)Directed by J. Lee Thompson129 minAdventure, Drama
“Two people trapped by fate. In a country with no destiny.”

Captain Scott (Kenneth More) is a British Army officer in the northern frontier province of colonial India, given the job of getting a young prince out alive. The boy's governess, Catherine Wyatt (Lauren Bacall), goes with them aboard an old, obsolete train, while rebels hunt the prince to kill him. J. Lee Thompson shoots the chase in CinemaScope and Eastmancolor, keeping the camera close to the engine as it moves.
