“there is no past no future either. just the Now--”

In suburban New Jersey in the 1960s, Douglas Damiano (John Magaro) watches the British bands on television and decides to start one, pulling in friends Eugene (Jack Huston) and Wells (Will Brill). David Chase sets the garage rehearsals against the Vietnam War and a house run by his father, Pat (James Gandolfini). Douglas wants to play music and keep Grace (Bella Heathcote) close, and neither is simple.
