Tore (Julius Feldmeier) is baptized in a lake by the Jesus Freaks, a Christian punk group he runs with, when he meets Benno (Sascha Alexander Geršak), a father who offers him a place on his family's property. Katrin Gebbe sets the start in a household already strained, where Tore's open, unguarded faith meets a family that tests it. Tore keeps believing that nothing bad can happen to him, and the film follows what that belief asks of him.
