Nothing but the Truth

“Don't Reveal the Source.”

A news story names a covert CIA operative, and Washington wants to know who handed the reporter the name. Rachel Armstrong (Kate Beckinsale) won't say, which puts her in a cell and across the table from special prosecutor Patton Dubois (Matt Dillon), while her attorney Albert Burnside (Alan Alda) takes her case toward the Supreme Court. Rod Lurie keeps the film close to the courtrooms, the interrogations and the jail, so the pressure comes from procedure.
