Nothing to Declare

In the early 1990s, the border between France and Belgium is about to disappear, and the customs posts along it are closing down. Ruben Vandevoorde (Benoît Poelvoorde), a Belgian officer who despises the French, is ordered to patrol in a car with Mathias Ducatel (Dany Boon), a French counterpart. Boon directs and co-stars, and the comedy rests on one plain idea: neighbors who share a road have to learn to share a front seat.
