Notting Hill
“Can the most famous film star in the world fall for the man on the street?”
William Thacker (Hugh Grant) runs a quiet bookshop in Notting Hill until Anna Scott (Julia Roberts), a major American actress, walks in one day. When she returns to the neighborhood, William finds himself drawn into her orbit, caught between the ordinary life he knows and the glamour that surrounds her. By the end, he's standing in a garden in the morning light, ordinary and happy, while the famous world spins on without him.
