Nowhere Special

John (James Norton) is a 35-year-old window cleaner in Northern Ireland who has raised his four-year-old son, Michael (Daniel Lamont), alone since the boy's mother left soon after the birth. Told he has only months left, John starts visiting prospective families, hoping to find the right one for Michael without letting the boy understand why. Uberto Pasolini follows each visit closely, and every day John waits to tell his son is a day he can't get back.
