O Brother, Where Art Thou?

“They have a plan, but not a clue.”

Everett (George Clooney) wants to get home to mid-1930s Mississippi before another man marries his wife Penny (Holly Hunter), and he has talked Pete (John Turturro) and Delmar (Tim Blake Nelson) into running with him from a chain gang. They are chasing buried treasure, with a lawman close behind. Joel Coen sets the three on dusty Southern roads with guitar and banjo music, and Everett keeps his hair slicked and his chin up the whole way.
