Oasis of the Zombies

“There's No Rest for the Wicked in the Desert of the Living Dead”

Nazi gold was buried at a remote oasis in the Libyan Desert during the Second World War, and soldiers of the Afrika Korps are still guarding it. Robert Blabert (Manuel Gélin) follows a party of fortune hunters there, the same men who killed his father in their search for the treasure. Jesús Franco films the sand and the camp in flat daylight, and Robert walks in knowing what the gold has already cost him.
