Obsession

“Be careful who you wish for…”

Bear, a music store employee, finds a supernatural toy at a flea market and makes a wish: that his friend Nikki (Inde Navarrette) will fall in love with him. The wish grants itself, but Nikki's sudden devotion warps into obsession that spreads through Bear's friends with each passing night. Curry Barker shoots the film in the grainy, airless style of a late-night broadcast, where small rooms feel like they're closing in.
