Odd Man Out

(1947)Directed by Carol Reed116 minCrime, Drama, Thriller
“An adventure in unbearable suspense!”

A robbery in Belfast leaves a man bleeding somewhere in the city, and the police go door to door looking for him. He is Johnny McQueen (James Mason), a Nationalist leader wounded in the getaway, and Carol Reed follows him as Kathleen Sullivan (Kathleen Ryan) searches for him ahead of the police. Every hour he stays out there, the hunters close in and his strength runs lower.
