Oddball

“Every underdog has his day.”

Swampy Marsh (Shane Jacobson) is a chicken farmer in a small Australian seaside town, a big, eccentric man with a mischievous dog named Oddball. When foxes start attacking the local penguin sanctuary, Swampy and his granddaughter Olivia (Coco Jack Gillies) set about training the dog to guard it. Stuart McDonald, directing his first feature, keeps the story true to its real-life origins and pitched at the level of a family afternoon.
