Odiyan

In Malabar, in the years when electric light first reaches the villages, the Odiyan clan is being hunted under British rule. The Odiyans are men of Kerala folklore who can take the shape of animals, and the new lamps leave them fewer and fewer dark places to move in. V. A. Shrikumar Menon follows Manikyan (Mohanlal), the last of them, as he fights back to save his people, and what the film keeps asking is how long a clan can outlast the world it was made for.
