Office Killer

“Working here can be murder.”

In 1997, the staff of Constant Consumer magazine is being cut back, and the proofreader Dorine Douglas (Carol Kane) finds her job turned into work she must do from home. Cindy Sherman follows her into a house where Dorine has no one to talk to, and where Kim Poole (Molly Ringwald) and the rest of the old office are still on her mind. After she accidentally kills a co-worker, her basement begins to fill with company, and the film treats that as a kind of comfort.
