Office Romance

Anatoly Novoseltsev (Andrey Myagkov) is a mousy single father at a Moscow statistics bureau, and he badly wants a promotion. His colleagues Olya and Yura talk him into charming the one person who can give it to him, his boss Ludmila Kalugina (Alisa Freyndlikh), whom the whole office calls "Meany." Eldar Ryazanov adapted his own stage play with Emil Braginsky and keeps the camera on a cramped office full of people who know each other far too well.
