Oh, Beautiful Istanbul

Haşmet (Sadri Alışık) is a grumpy, world-weary street photographer in Istanbul who has long since stopped expecting anything from the city. Then Ayşe (Ayla Algan) arrives from her country village, certain she will become an actress, and he decides it is his job to cure her of that blind optimism. Atıf Yılmaz keeps the two of them moving through the streets together, and the cure begins to run the other way.
