Oh, Canada

An aging man in decline lies in bed in his Montreal home, dictating his life story to a documentarian who sits beside him. Leo Fife (Richard Gere) moves between his present self and memories of a younger version (Jacob Elordi), tracing a path from idealism through betrayal to the person he has become. Schrader watches him reconstruct a past he can no longer change, and everything he says and withholds determines what of his life will outlive him.
