Okja

“We needed a miracle. And then we got one.”

Mija (An Seo-hyun) is a teenage girl who has spent years raising Okja, a genetically modified super pig, in the Korean mountains. When Lucy Mirando (Tilda Swinton) and her meat corporation take the animal away to the United States, Mija follows, and the Animal Liberation Front, led by Jay (Paul Dano), becomes her only help. Bong Joon Ho keeps the film small where it counts, on one girl and one enormous animal who have never known any other family.
