Oldboy

“Ask not why you were imprisoned. Ask why you were set free.”

Nobody tells Joe Doucett (Josh Brolin) why he spent twenty years locked in a plain, windowless room, and nobody tells him why he is suddenly let out. He gets three and a half days to find whoever put him there, with help from Marie Sebastian (Elizabeth Olsen), and Adrian Pryce (Sharlto Copley) is the name he keeps hearing. Spike Lee sets it in a cheap room with no clock, where Joe starts counting again.
