In the summer of 1991, a wealthy woman is found dead in her basement, and beside her, written in her own blood, are the words "Omar m'a tuer." Her Moroccan gardener Omar Raddad (Sami Bouajila) gets eighteen years with no forensic evidence against him, and the journalist Pierre-Emmanuel Vaugrenard (Denis Podalydès) moves to Nice, sure the court has it wrong. Roschdy Zem follows the investigation while a man's freedom and his name hang on whether anyone will listen.
