“A ship is like a country.”

In 1998 Istanbul, a ship's small crew keeps to a world of its own, warm and cozy and held together by comfortable lies. Serdar Akar follows the Captain (Erkan Can), Boxer (Naci Taşdöğen), Ali (Yıldıray Şahinler) and Kamil (Haldun Boysan) as one of them is mugged and beaten badly, and the routine they trusted starts to come apart. The four sailors decide to kidnap a prostitute (Ella Manea), and Ali is left holding the loyalty that bound them.
