On Body and Soul

“We meet at night. In our dreams.”

Mária (Alexandra Borbély), the new meat quality inspector at a Budapest slaughterhouse, wants nothing more than to get through each day without being touched or looked at. Then she and the plant's finance director, Endre (Morcsányi Géza), learn by chance that they dream the same dream every night. Ildikó Enyedi sets that discovery against the daily work of the plant, and the two of them risk the one thing neither can do easily, which is to meet in daylight.
