On Happiness Road

“Does our dream always come true as we expected?”

Lin Shu-Chi (Gwei Lun-Mei) worked her way out of Taiwan through years of study and now has the life in America she once wanted. When her grandmother dies, she flies home to her family on Happiness Road, where her childhood comes back to her piece by piece. Sung Hsin-Yin, making her directing debut, builds the film from Chi's own memories of growing up in Taiwan.
