On the Fringe

Azucena (Penélope Cruz) has one day to find the money that will keep her and her family from being evicted. Elsewhere in the city, the lawyer Rafael (Luis Tosar) is trying to reunite a mother with her daughter, and the sick old Teodora (Adelfa Calvo) goes looking for the son she lost long ago. Juan Diego Botto lets their separate hours run side by side, each one measured by how much time is left.
