Once I Was a Beehive

“A girls camp movie based on thousands of true stories.”

Lane Speer (Paris Warner) is shipped off to a summer camp for Mormon girls, a week she never asked for, right after her father dies of cancer. Her new step-cousin Carrie Carrington (Lisa Valentine Clark) steers her through it, and Maclain Nelson sets the whole thing among the cabins, the songs, and the awkward introductions. Lane has no interest in belonging, and Carrie keeps showing up beside her anyway.
