Once Upon a Time Veronica

Veronica (Hermila Guedes) moves through Recife, one of the most violent cities in Brazil, from one brief love affair to the next, and her father (W.J. Solha) is dying. He asks her for one thing before he goes: that she find true love. Marcelo Gomes follows her through the city as she tries to answer him, with Gustavo (João Miguel) and Dr. Roberto (Júlio Rocha) among the people she meets. Veronica sits at her father's bedside, the days passing in Recife outside.
