One Crazy Summer

“They're out of school, out on Nantucket, and out of their minds. With this crowd, anything can happen!”

Hoops McCann (John Cusack) is a teenage cartoonist who spends the summer before college drawing his way through a job on Nantucket with his friend Ack Ack Raymond (Curtis Armstrong). There he meets Cassandra (Demi Moore), a singer fighting to keep her family's property from developers, and he and his friends take her side. Savage Steve Holland fills the island with Hoops's sketchbook pages, and the friendship between him and Cassandra grows out of one cause.
