One Day

“Twenty years. Two people.”

Emma Morley (Anne Hathaway) and Dexter Mayhew (Jim Sturgess) meet on graduation night in Edinburgh and spend one perfect day together before parting ways. The film returns to them on the same date across years, watching their lives unfold separately: Emma as a teacher, Dexter chasing money in London. Each July 15th, their paths cross or miss, and what began as a connection hardens into the weight of what might have been.
